Gordy and I would like to thank all our family and friends for their unconditional love and support throughout the years.  We are thrilled to start our lives together and look forward to sharing this special time as well as many more life celebrations in the future with you all.

I can still remember the first time I saw Gordy.  I was watching the girls I nanny take their weekly swim lesson at the Pine Lake Athletic Club.  Vinny the girls swim instructor who also happens to be one of Gordy's best friends told Gordy about me; I guess he knew we would hit it off.  Gordy came down to the pool trying to look busy, though I later find out its just to see me.  One day Jamie, my employer, came home from the club and said "I'm suppose to ask if your single?".  She didn't know who Vinny was asking for at the time but I had an idea.  The next week while at the pool Gordy finally worked up the courage to talk to me.  He asked for my number and instead I took his.  He thought that was my polite way of saying no but lo and behold I called him a few days later.

On our first date I was blown away by how genuine and openly emotional he was, I had never met anyone like him.  When we came out from our dinner and movie the world had transformed into a winter wonderland.  The freshly fallen snow made the city feel new and exciting just like our budding relationship.  At that moment I knew this was the start of something very special, and boy was I right!

Because of our connection with nature and our love of the ocean we have decided on a destination wedding on the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii.  It will be a small ceremony on the beach, the sun will be melting into the ocean as we share our first kiss as husband and wife.

After the wedding we will hop over to the island of Kauai for the honeymoon portion of our trip.  There, we will explore the island together, hike, snorkel, and bask in each others love.

In the registry portion of our website you can play a special part in our honeymoon by giving us the gift of a specific activity or contributing to the overall honeymoon fund.  For those of you who would like to give us a more traditional gift we are also registered at Macy's.

We hope everyone can join us for the reception when we return on Saturday, September 29th.  It will be a casual celebration at my brother and sister-in-laws lovely home in Bear Creek Country Club.  There will be food, drinks, family and friends.  We look forward to seeing everyone there!
