Journey to the spectacular Chilkat Eagle Preserve home to the world's largest concentration of Bald Eagles. Explore North America's deepest fjord on your voyage to the beautiful port of Haines. Your journey continues along the National Scenic Byway through the awe-inspiring Chilkat Valley to the preserve. After a riverside picnic, you’ll board 18-foot inflatable rafts to enjoy a peaceful float (no whitewater) down the river through the very heart of the preserve. Watch for eagles, bears, moose, and even wolves, drawn here by the spawning salmon. 7,000 foot tall peaks tower above as you float past the ancient native village of Klukwan. This is an unforgettable adventure into the grandeur of Alaska!

Soar over the massive Juneau Icefield on this signature tour, the Glacier Adventure by Helicopter. Visit a landscape from another world. Experience the spectacular icefalls and rock formations of the Juneau Icefield from the air and on foot. Accessible only by air, the region is filled with lush forests, glassy alpine lakes, jagged mountain peaks, and awe inspiring glaciers. On this unforgettable journey you may find Alaska’s unique glaciers in differing stages: advancing, retreating, cascading, or a one-of-a-kind floating glacier. After flightseeing over these amazing glaciers, your pilot will gently land on one of these ancient "rivers of ice". Under your pilot’s expert guidance you'll get the chance to walk on an Alaskan glacier, explore the ancient landscape, and experience the otherworldly blue of Alaska's glacial ice! Note: Participants must be at least 2 years of age. Flight time is approximately 35 minutes, with an approximate 20-25 minutes landing on a glacier. Although the glacier landing is not ADA accessible, guest will remain on board the aircraft with the doors opens to enjoy a scenic view of the glacier. Wheelchair access may be limited, for details please consult your Shore Excursion staff before booking. Guests weighing 250 lbs. and over are charged an additional rate to reserve two seats for safety and comfort. This tour is non-refundable once booked.

Capture everything from glaciers to whales on this excursion that features a professional photography guide. Travel in a media-equipped shuttle bus and aboard a customized safari boat as your guide provides expert interpretation while also sharing tips and techniques to enhance your images. By land, at Mendenhall Glacier, you will be taken along a secluded moraine ecology trail. This gentle walk leads to beaver dams, salmon streams and remarkable glacier panoramas—sites to inspire your creative photography. By sea, board a covered safari vessel for an unforgettable journey through the pristine waterways of Stephens Passage. Large panel windows open to give you unrestricted views, while your captain safely maneuvers to give you the best angle on the shot. This excursion has never had a trip without a star-studded cast—often including humpback whales, sea lions, orcas, harbor seals, porcupines, eagles, salmon or even black bears. See more of Alaska’s natural wonders as you strive to capture that 'magical moment' in the medium that’s worth a thousand words. Note: Participants must be able to walk on their own for approximately 3/4 mile on an improved gravel trail. Raingear, umbrellas, camera towels, monopod walking sticks, bottled water and a snack are included. Wear comfortable walking shoes, dress in layers and bring your camera and plenty of film or digital capacity. Group size is limited to 14 participants to ensure a comfortable and interactive atmosphere. Children 12 and under receive a free waterproof kids camera. Each participant receives a complimentary instructional DVD with a photography tutorial and slideshow from Juneau’s best Photo Guides. Whale sightings are guaranteed or you’ll receive $100 cash back as you disembark the whale-watching vessel. The city of Vancouver, in the Canadian province of British Columbia, is a shining light in the Northwest and has been consistently ranked as one of the most livable cities in the world! Join this tour and discover why it was chosen to host the 2010 Winter Olympics. Departing the cruise pier you’ll head into the heart of downtown, a bustling urban environment surrounded by water and mountains. This tour will take you into the second largest Chinatown in North America, through the renovated and popular Gastown District and into Stanley Park, where the locals come to relax and play. Stanley Park is larger in size than New York City’s Central Park, and is home to old growth trees and a spectacular display of First Nation Totem Poles. You’ll have an opportunity to explore some of Stanley Park and take photos of the Mountain Range rising just outside of the city. Keep your eyes peeled for game sites of the 2010 Olympics. This tour will end at the Vancouver International Airport.
