Dear Friends and Family,

Some of you may be wondering why we're not going on a honeymoon after our wedding on June 23. We've decided to delay our honeymoon for almost a year to help us save for something very special. Don and I would love to go to German for personal reasons, and we also wanted it to coincide with an event there that we had been considering going to since last year.

We would love you to pieces if you'd contribute to our honeymoon fund, but our feelings won't be hurt if you decide not to. Thank you in advance!

For a very long time, Don had always wanted to go to Germany. He really enjoys its rich culture and had always wanted to experience it. Likewise, Grace enjoys learning about different cultures. Germany is special to her, as one of her dear friends from high school lives there (and Grace would love to see her again!). Help us get to Germany. We even delayed our honeymoon by a year to help save for this trip. One reason why we want to go to Germany is to attend Hobbit Con. We are fans of Tolkein as well as the Peter Jackson series and would love to rub elbows with the stars.
