Giany and I met each other on Match.com in May of 2009.  We  dated a few times, and had fun hanging out,  but didn't end up together right away.  We maintained a friendship with each other via Facebook conversation but I like to say that I still had some lessons about life to learn at the time.  Gianny and I did check up on each other from time to time throughout the next year to see what the other was up to...

FFWD to October 2010: Kristen called Gianny on October 24, 2010.  Gianny asked her on a date the next night.  And we've been together ever since.....lessons learned....we were both ready to pursue this thing this time around......  :)

Gianny wanted to show off how much he really wanted Kristen in his life from the moment she called him... He made lots of plans to wine and dine her.  Opens every door for her that he possibly can, and still does to this day.

In December of 2010, Gianny took Kristen to NYC.  Kristen's first time seeing the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center, the Rockettes Christmas show, and the Macys Christmas display!  They had wonderful Italian food for dinner and froze their butts off walking around Chinatown and little Italy to barter for Kristen's illegal Prada bag, just because she always wanted to do it!  A failed attempt with the first barter...Kristen came in with too low of an offer and the lady laughed at her and walked away.   Not to be discouraged, Kristen made Gianny walk around for at least another 2hours until she found the fake Prada she'd been hunting!

A night cap of overpriced Pomegranite margaritas after the Rockettes led to an interesting morning commute home for Kristen that weekend.  Separate train seats were required because Gianny had to order some lamb and rice off a foodcart and Kristen's nausea couldn't stomach the smell! 

Great memories of our first weekend away together!

The wedding is scheduled for October 18, 2013 and Kristen and Gianny plan a mini vacation within the week after the big day.

The "real" honeymoon is going to be postponed until the winter months.  Kristen and Gianny decided they wanted to go somewhere warm once Pennsylvania starts to get cold.

There hasn't been an official destination chosen, but we are trying to keep things within the US and have been discussing Key West, FL and Hawaii.
