Our Story

Jill Ragee and Brian Downing met while playing in the praise band, "Megalife" started by former bass player of "Megadeth" Dave Ellefson. They had many things in common, but music was the major bond they shared. After performing every Sunday evening for over a year, Brian asked Jill on a date. She immediately said, "Yes!" Their first date was to the 3D movie, "My Bloody Valentine." Jill knew right away Brian was not only a sweetheart, but had good taste in movies! Their relationship had begun after their first kiss that evening when they both said in unison, "Wow!"

Jill is a singer/pianist at The Big Bang Dueling Piano bar in Tempe, AZ 4 nights a week and is represented by the FORD modeling agency. She is also a lead singer for the Northern Light Orchestra. Brian is a full-time lead guitarist in the group, "Traveler." "Traveler" is best known for their unique fusion of world music mixed with heavy metal and emotionally intense stage performances.

The two lovebirds are currently writing their first original album together which will blend blues and southern rock and a couple of power LOVE ballads! Brian and Jill believe in soul mates, romance, and are thrilled to be exchanging their vows by candlelight in the church where they met on 9-9-09 @ 9:09 PM by candlelight.

Thank you for taking the time to view our story and registry! We will be taking our honeymoon to Greece for two romantic weeks. We leave on October 4, 2009. Our honeymoon is a wedding gift from Larry and Sherry Ragee. We will be staying in Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini while in Greece.
