Tim Clayton lived in San Diego CA. and Brenda Lutu lived in Portland OR. It was 6 years ago that a mutual friend Bryan Miner introduced them. Bryan and Tim grew up together in Rancho Penasquitos. Building forts and riding bikes and skateboards, they menaced the neighborhood. This built a lifelong friendship.
Around the same time Brenda was just down south a bit farther in Imperial Beach. Bryan had to leave San Diego and moved with his parents to Oregon.
Fast forward to the late 90's Brenda had moved to Oregon. It was then she became friends with Bryan who then introduced her to Tim when they were attending a Zcar show in L.A. The following year when the car show came around, they decided to go early and stay with Tim. Much fun was had in San Diego back then and they kept in touch more frequently.
Tim decided to move to Portland that August. Tim had not yet met Brenda’s daughters Carlie and Savannah. Many long phone conversations took place and by the time Tim arrived in Portland and it was as though that’s where he belonged all along.
Carlie and Savannah quickly bonded with Tim and he with them, challenging because as he came into their lives, their teenage years about to begin.
Once semi settled, Brenda's place affectionately called the "Geico house" became much too small. Mean while Tim was offered an amazing job with Netflix and they began house hunting.
Six months after leaving San Diego Tim and Brenda purchased their first home in Beaverton Oregon. It was then that both Brenda and Tim agreed together they could achieve anything.
Together with the girls they had a perfect family. They added a few additions along the way with Bolt the naughty kitten, Chelsey the old fat rescue dog and Frosty the white German Sheppard.
Tim and Brenda finally decided to make it official and include friends and family by stating their vows to each other while having the loving blessings of our dear friends and family.

Tim & Brenda would like all our friends and family to know how excited we are to share this special day with all of you. As you all know both of us very well, you know that above all we want everyone to have a great time. This venue is actually a house that we all may need to gather in if the weather doesnt hold out. Most of the time the weather in October is really mild and still summer temps. "We hope"! So do bring a light jacket just in case. We will continue to send updates as the day gets closer we are going to do a bit of food beer and wine. As we reach final decisions we will post here. So excited to see everyone and have you all with us.
