The ceremony will be outdoors, an indoor reception with dinner

and dancing will follow.

Julian is a small, rustic town located in the "mountains" just east of San Diego. The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be in the Lodge itself. Although it is sunny, southern California, it is likely to be quite a bit cooler in Julian than in San Diego because of the altitude.

The Pine Hills Lodge has rooms and/or cabins available. It is a small Lodge with fairly rustic accomodations. There are no T.V.s, no phones and no free wi-fi connections (there is electricity!).

There are also quite a few hotels/inns in the Julian area with varying levels of accomodations. We invite you to check the Julian Chamber of Commerce website for listings. Three of the listings are included on the invitations and here:

Directions to the Pine Hills Lodge:

From San Diego: Take I8 East to Highway 67 (towards Ramona), 67 turns into Highway 78 in Ramona, continue to follow towards Julian, turn right on Pine Hills Road (you should see a sign for William Heiss Park), right on Blue Jay Drive, left on La Posada Way, the Lodge will be on your left.

Alternate route: Take I8 East to the CA 79/Japatul Road exit (exit 40 towards Julian), turn left on CA79, left on CA 78/CA 79/Washington Street, left on Pine Hills Road, right on Blue Jay Drive and left on La Posada Way, the Lodge will be on your left.
