Allen and I met through our friend Cathy.

Both Allen and I were Cathy's best friends, yet we had never met.  Cathy knew we both loved the outdoors, great adventures, the tropics and that we both have and appreciate quirky senses of humor.

Cathy pushed, cajoled and finally convinced us that we needed to meet.  It truly was love at first sight (which says a lot since our first date was zip lining with lovely helmets on our heads!) and we both wondered why Cathy didn't make it happen sooner!

Never the less, we are both so glad she did bring us together!!
