I met Susy when she was 17 and I was young too - ha ha.  We met in a dance

studio, wonder of wonders!  She has been a part of my heart ever since!

 ~Tise

It was the 80's-  Acid washed jeans were the rage, Ronald Regan was President, John Lennon was assassinated, George Michaels was straight and Susy & Raquel were the best of friends.  Total opposites they found a kinship in each other that has spanned over 2 decades, there has been city moves, state moves, country moves yet there is no separation of the two.

We had met in elementary school.  The rough neck Raquel from the wrong side of the tracks and the Princess in training Susy. But it was in High School we actually became friends both of us being bussed to a school on the other side of town.  While at first our differences had us both imagining us parting ways sometime in the future it was our differences that caused us to be close and our experiences that make it so that even today no matter how much time apart we spent its like we say each other just the other day.  Love that girl with all my heart and am so glad she found such a wonderful, loving and supportive partner in Matt.  Congrats to the both of you.  Love you lots like tatertots!

I met Susy at the beginning of 2008 at a little fitness center called HAWCC in San Jose.  I had been hitting up all of the classes of the newest dance fitness craze to hit our area and came across this crazy bundle of energy named Susy.  She literally rocked my world...in more ways than one.  I would have never imagined that she would become such an important person in my life and truly change my world forever.  She went from being a teacher to a great friend and mentor.  Through her encouragement (aka gentle nudging) she somehow got me to become an instructor, which I never thought I could, or would, do.  That's one of the many amazing things about Susy...she sees the beauty and strengths in people and encourages and supports them to be their very best.  I am blessed to be one of the many people she's touched and someone who can call her a very dear friend.  I am honored to be a part of her and Matt’s special day and wish them all the love and happiness in the world!

Heeeeeey!!!!!  Two years ago, I switched gyms to find a good exercise class.  After a week, one of the students told me that I should go the Monday night class b/c the girl, who teaches that class, is the best.  I got there really early b/c I needed that front row in the middle spot to be right behind the instructor.  Then, in comes this little girl smiling, chewing her gum and being all happy.  I thought to myself....Okay, little girl, hurry up b/c I need my cardio!  After my first class with Susy, I was totally hooked and became a regular.  I remember telling her, like all of us have, that she needs to go do her own thing and to make a DVD.  Well, LP, I'm still waiting for the veeeeedeeeeo, Homie!!!

What really surprised me about Susy was how can someone be so talented, yet so nice to everyone and so humble.  Sometimes she calls me up before class to see if I want to commute with her.  My answer is uhhh-uhhhh b/c I ain't waiting 2 hours after class.  That is what makes Susy such a special and unique person.  She always takes time to talk to everyone and makes everyone feel special!  She has such a good heart and is a beautiful person, inside and out.  Now a days, it is a rare to know someone like her, who is so down-to-earth and so kind to everyone.  On that note, it is rare for 2 people, like Susy and Matt, to have found each other in this crazy world.  Matt is such a supportive and loving partner to Susy, personally and professionally.  When I tell Susy what a great partner Matt is to her, I always say, "Ain't no one going to adore you, work hard and set up your music, like Matty does."

I met Susy around February 08 at ISK and fell in love with her class!  I never missed a class and would stay after to talk to her and get to know her.  I couldn't believe how warm and sweet and down to earth she was and I found myself just being able to connect to her in a very real way.  Plus I found out how funny she was and she could crack me up!

Susy has always been so supportive and encouraging to me over the years.  And then there's Matt, who never fails to tell me I have spinach in my teeth right before I take the mike to go up on stage, or that I have something in my nose, so that the whole time that's all I can think about.

But, I really love you both so much.  Well, actually I love Susy more. No, just kidding.  OK, a little more.  I wish you both a long life filled with love and happiness!!!!

I met Susy over 10 years ago in her kickboxing class. She wanted me to  teach... and I said no of course. After much  persuading she helped me become an instructor and our friendship grew and we have been friends ever since!! I'm so excited to be a part of this special day.

I first met Susy & Matt at a tiny studio near Downtown SJ three years ago. I dropped in for a class at HAWCC, and the manager said with excitement, "Susy teaches the class!" Me, not knowing who Susy was, just shrugged and thought, "Um, ok. Who's Susy?" Little did I know it was THE Susy! :) I then discovered ISK and quickly became part of the ISK family where I met so many incredible people.

Matt was often there for support and always offered comic relief. He also shared a deep passion for music and baseball. He still tries to stump me with song lyrics or artists and helps me learn the inside tricks of Baseball.
I feel honored not only to be a part of their special day but to also help achieve their dream with U-JAM Fitness. They continue to pour blood, sweat, & tears into their dream, so they deserve all the success U-JAM brings.

They truly are the most generous, kind, and supportive people I know, and I am proud to call them friends, or better yet, family.

----------------------------------------------

I met Susy back in 1995 when she was visiting her family here from LA.  She had long, black, curly hair that hung below her small waist with her black mini-skirt and a black and white tea-cup sized (pomeranian or chow-chow??) named Oreo in one arm.

She had the most amazing eyes and a beautiful smile (that twinkled like in the tv commercials) when she walked through my office door.  I thought to myself....who in the world--is SHE?!  She opened her mouth and out came the most sweetest voice when she said, "Helloooo."  She pulled forth her free hand and gave me a dead-fish handshake.  Right at that moment, I had encountered a PRINCESS for the first time in my life!!!

It was simply Amazing....she had me.....at "Helloooo."

This was the beginning of our beautiful friendship--she is my ETERNAL Friend!

I love you, Susy!!!!

Here is my story of how I met our girl :)

The first time I met Susy was around 2003 at Gold's Gym. She had taken one of the kickboxing classes and had so much energy. I thought to myself, "Who is this girl that I've never seen before?" Little did I know she was an instructor! Shortly after, I began taking her kickboxing classes, and followed her as she created U-Jam! Over the course of 8 years, our friendship flourished and she became not only my confidant, but a dear friend. She is one of the sweetest and most genuine people I know! Susy will always have a special place in my heart, and I'm so honored to be a part of this special day!

Susy and I met nearly 10 years ago while in kickboxing class. She quickly
went from being a friendly face at the gym to becoming a caring supportive
friend. Our friendship prospered while running at Rancho San Antonio. It
is during this time that Susy and I solidified our relationship as lifelong
friends and now I can't imagine what I would do without her.

I have known Matt for 10 plus years now and I consider him one of my closest dearest friends! As Matt mentioned I am always planning parties and trying to match make people. I have already put a couple together who just spent their 15th wedding anniversary, so as you can see I like trying to match make. I remember thinking of have a singles party at our home but was not thinking of Matt & Susy yet. It was first with Matt when we and Frankie took a Reno trip that Grady Turner planned. I sat next to Matt on the bus and as we were waiting for everyone a girl got on board, she was petite and Latin. Matt made a comment how he liked that type of woman. BINGO I immediately thought of Susy….next move I go to my kick boxing gym and starting working on Susy. I asked her about meeting a friend, well Susy had a certain type the person had to meet. I told her just have an open mind and if she could help me with the party by teaching some salsa to my guests, she said okay! Oh and one more thing with both Matt & Susy as I was asking them each about dating and what they want in a person, each one said the one same comment and that was “I’m tired of dating I just want to settle down and be happy with someone.”
I am so happy to say the chemistry worked! After the party, Matt would call me every day to talk about Susy. It was so cute he was falling and why not with the gorgeous Susy inside and out how could he not. I remember Matt coming to my office to pick up some props for a DJ party he was doing for us. Matt would not leave because all he wanted to do was talk about Susy that my boss gave me the look like he needs to go now. When Matt told me, he was going to propose I was so excited. Susy & Matt called me when they were in Cabo after he proposed and she said yes. Susy asked me to be one of her bridesmaid but being a wedding coordinator I asked her if I could take that role instead because I want to help in every way with the wedding. Matt & Susy are my dearest “favorite” couple
Bill & I love them so much.

I've known Frank for a LONG time...since we were 12, I believe.  Right now, I think he is stalling on his story, just to get back at me for all the times I've been late to functions with him or meeting him somewhere.

I got it, Franklin....

For the delay of game, here is Kenny's pic from high school.  Check out the fly lid, roller brushed back on top.  Kenny was always fly with the ropa!

I've know Kenny since we were 10 years old...jeez only about 15 years ago!  He, like Frank "The Tank," has taken the liberty to text sarcastic messages to me, instead of writing anything here yet!  I love my friends!  Kenny and I started DJing at the age of 15, with our first paid event was at Gunderson High School's "Caribbean Queen" dance for $200. Ken's mom dropped us off and picked us up, as we were sophomores and didn't even have a license (Lisa!).

Man how time flies....but friends will always remain!

I knew the "legend" of Matt Marks long before I actually knew Matt Marks. Growing up playing baseball in Santa Clara and gowing to Wilcox, how could you not know who he was?? But one fatefull day in 1992 while I was working at the World famous San Jose Live as the DJ Manager my chance to meet him ( at least on the phone) became a reality! I was approached by a regular customer named Steve "Gator" Wood who said I have a friend who is moving back to the area from So-cal and he is a DJ and he needs a job. I said tell me more about him and he started to describe Matt. I said you are talking about matt Marks right?? he said yes and I said tell him to call me ASAP. We spoke on the phone and we talked about DJing, mutal friends etc and I said you are hired! It was one of the best hires I've ever made while I worked there because not only did I get an amazing personality / DJ but I gained an incredible life long friend, and brother. I'm very proud to be one of his 1300 friends on Facebook and feel blessed to be a part of Matt and Susy's special day and I look forward to many more years of love and friendship.

Matty and I met in Jr. High where we were classmates and Pony League teammates on the Yankees (ahem, tournament champs baby) where Matt became a Lou Vierra Field legend!!  When Matt wrote in my yearbook that when he made it to the Major Leagues that he would leave me tickets so I could see him play, I knew that we'd be friends for a long time...of course so that I could collect on that offer.  Well we're still friends after almost 30 years and I'm still waiting to collect!!  As grown up, mature, well adjusted men (ha ha ha - frrrrrrrt!!) we have shared in many adventures together and I look forward to many, many more in our future along with our wonderful wives!!

How did I met Matt and Susy?  Well, I will start with Susy since I met her first back in 2000 while taking cardio Kickboxing class through a mutual friend. It wasn’t until 2003 when I returned from duty in Iraq and decided to become a Cardio Kickboxing instructor that we became great friends! From then on we have not only been friends, but soul brother and sister, together through a lot of experiences and adventures both professionally and personally.

Now Matt I met in 2007 the same way I met Susy through a mutual friend (Susy) LOL!  Through their dating and engagement I have become great friends with Matt and in this almost four years we have all bonded and have gone thru amazing experiences together.

Matt and Susy have had great impact in my life both in a personal and a professional level.  Susy has helped me in my fitness career over the years to grow as a fitness instructor. Matt has helped me with his music and DJ knowledge in my adventure as a DJ. Most importantly in a personal level both are understanding, caring and supportive friends. I can proudly say that they are not just friends but family. It is a great honor for me to be part of their wedding as one of their groomsman as it is a great honor to have them as part of my life.

My name is Lance Leber and i feel extremely honored to be part of Matt and Susy C's (soon to be Susy M's) wedding party. The first time I met Rex Master Matt was a Friday night at San Jose Live finishing my lowly "Happy Hour" set. Matt Mixxed out of my crappy tune into "Din Daa Daa". Ever since that day I have been a fan. He had/has a natural talent to draw a crowd and do/say something crazy that I can reference years later. He is a brother to me and I am so happy for him that he met such a fantastic girl! Susy is so sweet and caring, but she is a Monster on stage! They are an amazing team and will do great things together! WHAAA DEE DIG!!

I met Ernie when I was 9 years old on my first baseball team at American Little League.  Ernie would umpire some of our games and gave me pointers at times.  The next year he drafted me to his major league team, The Ferrell's Mobile Royals, where we won 2 championships.

He has taught me an incredible amount about life, challenge, teamwork, determination and, of course, baseball.  Ernie and his family are very dear to me, as I spent a lot of time over the summers with them, learning just how good Mrs. Luna's taquitos were and listening to Mariachi's at various birthday parties.

A lot of who I am as a person comes from Ernie and I love him for it.

Thanks for all you've done, coach!

I met Ralpy when I was 12 at Buchser Jr. High, as we share the commonality of baseball.  I learned what a "Puerto Rican" really was through the years, as he sure alerted us of every "Puerto Rican" move!

Ralphy was one of the best athletes in the Santa Clara Valley and one of the fastest guys I ever played ball with.

Over the years we have shared a plethora of baseball and life stories, including one he can still tell you, where he owes me $5 for a home run (inside the park), because I told him the pitches as a catcher.

He says, "the only reason Matt and I still hang around is because he is still waiting for his money."

....I am still waiting for the $5 ,Lemon!

I am also the proud Godfather of his 2nd son, Darius!

My middle of the two younger bros, Kelly was actually the most responsible, saving his money and buying killer things, like a waterbed, a cool TV, a motorcycle, etc.

My brother and his wife were nice enough to house me on my big move back home from Los Angeles, as I was stuck there for longer than I should have been.

That is my brother's heart....always willing to do whatever for his family!

I am proud of my bro for raising a great family and taking the initiative to get up and "go" to Lost Wages, Nevada, where he's been there for over 10 years (I think).

My bro is always accommodating, as I am lucky enough to spend some time with him, my 2 smart and loving nephews and sister-in-law, when I'm in town for biz.

Phil is on the left and Kelly is on the right.

The youngest of my two bros, Phil has an unbelievable talent in the voice-over industry.

I am proud of my "lil bro" for his work with Carlos Mencia, George Lopez, Jeff Dunham, Gabriel Iglesias.  His "accounts" are faithful to him, as he has built a reputation, working hard since he was 15 at KARA...in Santa Clara (that was my Wolfman Jack impersonation).

At 17, he fibbed his age a bit to work at Hot 97.7 back in the day!  My bro now lives in Ada, OK, where he has built his worldwide business from his God-given voice and drive!

He has busted his rump to get where he is and I have nothing but love and admiration for him.

I wish I could say I taught him what he knows, but I do remember picking him up from home and brining him to San Jose City's radio station, KJCC, so he could see me "spin" on some 1960 platters.  He LOVED it...heck, more than I did!

Phil has raised two outstanding boys with his wife and they, collectively, are a great family to be around!

My wish is to see them more often and be a part of their family's growth!

Much love to my bro and his "heeeee haaaw" fam in Okey!

Oh yes!  I went there!  This is E Love's senior year at Lincoln High School!  LA 7-Mary 3...or 4...YO PAUNCH!!!!!

Eric and I have known each other since we were 10, as we met on Farrell's Mobile Royals Little League team.

We spent so much time together as youngsters, I think we can finish each other's sentences.

We also ended up playing sports at San Jose City College (E-basketball and I was baseball).

Eric WAS a very good athlete back in the day and we shared an MVP trophy with 3 others (yes, we had 5 co-MVPs on our team) when we were 12.

Eric and I have been on many teams and trips together...and can certainly share a heck of a lot of stories (ear muffs) with you around a campfire.

E Love has been a great friend and "brother for 3 decades now and we look forward to playing more baseball golf and raising fams together.
