| We are about to disembark on our cruise tomorrow! Before we did, we wanted to let everyone know just how amazing you all are in helping us out, joining us, and just simply experiencing such a wonderful day with us! We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful and diverse group of friends who did and do such a spectacular job at making us feel cherished and loved! Please accept our endless gratitude for the best wedding day that we could have imagined! Cliff & Ari ![]() *Update* Apparently, transportation is not complimentary despite what I was told earlier. I will try to figure something out, but please plan your own travel. Now that Ari and Cliff have *nabbed* each other, it's time for the *NAB* Party, the Not-A-Bachelor(ette) Party! The first portion of the night involves eating tapas and sipping on tequila, whereas the second portion of the night allows you to get on Santa's naughty list just in time for Christmas! We don't demand that you come and it's ok to come to one thing or the other - completely up to you! All the things we're doing are on Rosen property and very close to each other. Read on for details! 7:30pm - We're going to meet at the grand bird cage in the Rosen Shingle Creek lobby to rendevouz after the reception. 8:00pm'ish - Meet at 98Forty Tapas and Tequila Bar in the Rosen Centre Hotel to eat. The address for Rosen Centre is 9840 International Drive. 98Forty Tapas has a bar that seats 9 and 3 tables that seat 3 each. They also have another hotel bar area that has 25 tables that seat 4 each. They do not take reservations, so we may need to take advantage of the additional bar area. We will spend a couple hours here depending on the atmosphere to grab something to eat. 10/11:00pm'ish - Meet at the Backstage Nightclub at Rosen Plaza Hotel. The address for Rosen Plaza is 9700 International Drive. The Backstage Nightclub is having Twisted Krampus! You can visit their website for an entertaining description (http://moshimoshiproductions.com/twisted-krampus/). Basically as they describe, the theme is a demented, naughty christmas. The website states that the event is from 9:00pm to 2:00am (although we'll arrive a little later than start time), 21+, and has a $10 admission. From what I gather from the link, this is most decidedly not for the kids, so come with an open mind! ![]() Please check back as our wedding day approaches and updates are made. Here's the timeline of events you need to know to have a spectacular time at our wedding! 10:30am: Family of the bride and groom and wedding party arrive at the rose garden for photos. 11:00am: Guests arrive at the ceremony location. Signs should direct you to the rose garden (Osceola Courtyard) for an outdoor ceremony or, in the event of inclement weather, to an indoor location. A live string duo should begin playing at this time, so please arrive at 11:00am to enjoy this music. If necessary, arrive no later than 11:15am so that we can have a prompt beginning to our ceremony. 11:30am: Ceremony begins. We have planned for a 30-minute outdoor ceremony in the rose garden. As of now, The Weather Channel reports a "Sunny" day with a high of 61 degrees and a 0% chance of rain. 12:00pm: Cocktail half-hour begins. A consumption bar opens and hors d'oeuvres will be served in the balcony area of the Butler Ballroom. The "Clefairy" (Cliff-Ari: Pokemon reference) Mojito is our signature drink. The bar also should be stocked with premium spirits, cordials, wine, beer, soda, and water. Coffee and tea also should be available. This is a consumption bar, meaning that drinks are free until a certain limit has been reached, at which point it becomes a cash bar. Please take full advantage of this option as we prefer to reach the limit as that will result in the bartender fee being waived. 12:30pm: Reception begins. The consumption bar closes and guests move from the balcony area of the Butler Ballroom to the main floor of the Butler Ballroom. Introductions, dancing, and toasts occur at this time. 1:00pm: Lunch service begins and consumption bar reopens. A plated lunch consisting of lala rosa salad and chicken fontina atop truffle-whipped mash potatoes with asparagus and carrots will be served. The hotel is aware of dietary restrictions (e.g., gluten-free, vegetarian, etc.) for our guests, but please double check. 2:00pm: Cake cutting. Prepare yourselves for a simply amazing three-tiered cake. All tiers are topped with a buttercream icing with the three following flavor combinations: Carrot cake with cream cheese filling, hazelnut with praline filling, and red velvet with vanilla and sliced strawberries filling. 3:30pm: Reception ends. "You don't have to go home, but you have to get the heck out of here!" The bride and groom will retire to their honeymoon suite. 7:30pm: After party. Please meet by the grand bird cage in the hotel lobby to confirm plans for post-wedding activities (e.g., dinner, dancing, etc.). Cliff and I will likely be taking a stroll to see the falling snow at 8:30pm Friday night. Here are the details straight from the Rosen Shingle Creek website: Shingle Creek Winter Wonderland Stroll |
