In October 2013, Gareth and Heather reunited for a visit in California.  It was a very special trip because Heather got to show Gareth her "home town" and introduce him to some of her best friends and family friends as well as celebrate the marriage of one of Heather's dearest childhood friends.  They decided to get professional pictures down while out there and Gareth was very clever and decided to arrange a surprise proposal during the shoot.  Heather always told Gareth her most favorite place in the whole world was on a beach back home in Cali at sunset, so he took notes and got down on one knee at sunset at Strands Beach in Dana Point, CA.  To make this moment any more special, it was all captured on camera which is something they will cherish forever!
