| Jeff & Jamie met a little later in life. They both had their own lives in different parts of the US. Jeff resided in Marion, Virginia and Jamie resided in Gastonia, NC when they first met. Well, how did they meet? Jeff works for Norfolk Southern and at the time he was traveling weekly for his job. He landed in Gastonia and happened to stay at the hotel Jamie was working at, Holiday Inn Express. He stayed there for 4 months. This leaving them the opportunity to get to know one another. It wasn't so easy though. Jeff tried for months to get Jamie to go out with him to dinner. She kept telling him no, simply because this handsome but very country guy standing in front of her just wasn't her type. His persistance paid off, and she eventually decided to give it shot. They officially started dating April 21, 2014.
Jeff & Jamie are the proud parents of Steven and Irene and their Shephard/Chow named Ollie. Their favorite thing to do together is to take trips together and explore the beautiful place God created for us to live in. Jeff proposed to Jamie on January 5, 2016 at a family function with her side of the family. On their upcoming day, May 27, 2017, they will have been together for three amazing years full of emotions, laughter and love!
Jeff is a hardworking railroader for Norfolk Southern. He's a man with a heart of gold raised by his parents Dewey & Katey Jackson in Marion, Virginia. With the way Jeff was raised he sees the good in people no matter their circumstances. His favorite hobbies are spending time with his fiance and children, being out and about doing things and just relaxing when he gets the chance.
Jamie is working on pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming an elementary school teacher, she for now works for Smyth County Schools substituting. Jamie absolutely loves to laugh and believes in second chances. Her favorite quote is "Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending." She holds her family and friends close to her heart. Jamie moved around alot as a kid, but she considers herself to be from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina since she lived their for 17 years of her life. She was raised by her mother Penny Papale and her stepfather Steve Sharp. She grew up loving life, loving people and loving God. |
