On their 5th Anniversary (of dating!) Clint asked Kandace if she would like to go on a picnic.  He drove them to an intimate destination near St. Augusta, Minnesota, where he had prepared a wonderful surprise for her...

A quiet stream sparkled in the sunshine like diamonds as they walked a well-beaten path. Since the first time they held hands, Kandace had noticed they fit perfectly together. They walked, and Kandace saw people together, waiting ahead for them. 

Joel had a guitar, Barb had a camera. Kandace knew in an instant that this was a walk like no other...

Without loosening his grasp on her hand, Clint dropped to his knee. Kandace's eyes welled with joyful tears and she listened while Clint sang a lovely song to her.

Clint had prepared a picnic lunch, complete with delightful nibbles and a bottle of fine wine. They ate and drank in celebration.
