We would like to dedicate our wedding to Juanita Marks, who passed with breast cancer in 1997.

"My mom always brought a sense of peace and calmness to her sons' lives.  She was great about not taking sides, only mediating the situation.  I have learned a lot from her and it has been instilled in me.  Mom always busted her butt, with 2 jobs at times, to make sure her sons were going to school and could have a decent life.  We didn't have much, but we all learned that 'livin on love' is the right way to go.  I became very close to mom and appreciated her on a newer level when I went away to college.  Coming home from Los Angeles to home-cooked meals and motherly love is something money and time cannot buy.  I often tell Susy about my mom, the stories we've created and how she was as a person.  I also tell Susy she reminds me a lot of my mom: beautiful inside and out, caring, giving, loving and peaceful.  I know my mom would approve of Susy!  I wish she was here to share more memories with us and her sons' families, as she deserved so much more.  We look forward to reuniting in Heaven someday.  I love you, mom!"
